Job Description:
Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Clerk to join a dynamic team in a well-established and growing accountancy practice.
If you are AAT qualified or have a strong background working as an Accounts Clerk in practice, this role would be ideal for you!

Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting with bookkeeping tasks and maintaining financial records
*Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and payments
*Reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy of financial data
*Assisting with monthly and year-end financial reports
*Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory filings
*Managing client accounts and maintaining strong client relationships
*General administrative duties, including filing and correspondence
Skills & Experience Required:
*Previous experience in a similar role (ideally in an accountancy practice)
*Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
*Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel
*Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
*Good communication skills and a team player
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
