Management Accountant
Reports to: Financial Director (FD)
Location: Wrexham
Salary: up to 45k
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role involves working closely with the Financial Director and playing a vital part in managing the financial operations of a diverse group of companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of management accounts for all multiple companies within the group.
*Completing VAT returns accurately and on time.
*Managing accruals, prepayments, and other routine financial adjustments.
*Conducting reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
*Assisting with year-end processes, including the preparation of year-end financial statements.
*Supporting the audit process, liaising with external auditors as required.
*Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support decision-making across the group.
Essential Skills and Experience:
*Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant role.
*Strong understanding of financial reporting, VAT regulations, and accounting principles.
*Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to work to tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
*Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications:
*Part-qualified or qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
*Experience in managing accounts for a group of companies.
