Job Title: Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer
Location: Home / Field based covering East Sussex and Kent
Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Package: Excellent Benefits Package, Bonus, Pension, Expenses + much more
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria: *Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
*Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare, at Level 4 or Level 5.
*Must hold strong competency at Deputy Manager level or above, within a Residential Childcare setting.
*Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
*Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
*Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include: *Assessand support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, at Level 4 or Level 5 (depending on competency).
*Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
*Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
*Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
*Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
*Support, advise and motivate learners.
*Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
