We’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established and ambitious manufacturing business in the Bradford area. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Management Accountant, you’ll have a diverse and rewarding set of responsibilities, including:
*Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
*Preparing detailed reports on manufacturing performance, including cost analysis, margins, and stock management.
*Supporting operational teams with financial insights to help them improve efficiencies and reduce waste.
*Managing the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
*Developing and improving financial controls, systems, and processes to enhance reporting and compliance.
*Supporting year-end audits and ensuring the business remains compliant with relevant financial regulations.
*Collaborating with production teams to monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
*You will be AAT qualified or will be studying CIMA/ACCA, candidates towards the end of their AAT studies will also be considered
*A background in manufacturing or a similar sector, with a strong understanding of costings and stock management will be an advantage but isn’t essential
*Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
*Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across the business and influence decision-making.
*A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
