Job Description:
Are you a skilled Project Manager, immediately available for a 12-month contract? If you have exposure to and experience in heavy engineering we would love to hear from you.
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager to join our client’s team and deliver "best in class" service to their customers.

About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will:
*Deliver projects for bespoke engineering works, managing all aspects from inception to completion
*Establish robust operating procedures and reporting mechanisms.
*Build team engagement to drive delivery of agreed objectives on schedule, building effective working relationships with external partners as well.
*Plan and manage project budgets effectively.
*Monitor and communicate project progress, addressing issues and risks proactively.
*Implement effective change control processes to align with customer requirements.
*Conduct learning and post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
About You
We’re looking for a candidate with the following skills, knowledge, and experience:
*Project management qualifications, such as PRINCE2 or equivalent.
*Experience within the engineering sector.
*Proven experience in solution design, cost modelling, and data analysis.
*Expertise in managing the full project lifecycle and delivering large-scale, complex technical projects.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
*An engineering or related degree (desirable but not essential).
*Strong customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
*Experience in leading risk governance processes and reviews.
*The ability to translate ideas into practical solutions.
*Budget planning and management expertise.
*Exceptional communication skills at all levels.
