Job Description:
The Project Manager - Building and Fire Safety will oversee and coordinate the delivery of actions to close down any building and fire safety issues, such as Enforcement Notices (EN) and Notices of Deficiency (NOD).
Additionally, the role will have specific focus on reviewing projects with Waking Watch to identify necessary permanent or interim measures to ensure customer safety ahead of (where applicable) wider remedial works to ensure our customers safety is managed effectively at all times during the process.
We are seeking a immediate/short notice period start.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage the delivery of services by appointed fire contractors, fire alarm contractors, mechanical and electrical consultants, and other relevant parties to address building safety issues
*Coordinate communication with relevant authorities, in particular the London Fire Brigade (LFB), to close down safety issues
*Receive, review, and manage the delivery of actions required to address notices issued by LFB or other regulatory bodies (e.g., local authorities). Challenge any unreasonable actions within the notices and create project-specific plans with actions and timelines to be shared with LFB regularly
*Record and monitor progress on safety actions and provide regular reports on the same
