Job Description:
The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of the procurement and supply chain department within the automotive/ manufacturing industry, based in Reading.

Key responsibilities include:
*Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise the supply chain process.
*Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods.
*Lead negotiations for major contracts and agreements.
*Oversee the procurement budget, cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
*Ensure compliance with industry-related regulations and standards.
*Coordinate with other departments for smooth inter-departmental operations.
*Monitor market trends and make recommendations for procurement decisions.
*Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
Profile
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
*Proven track record in a procurement management role, ideally in a similar industry.
*Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
*Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
*Excellent understanding of the Automotive/ Manufacturing industry.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
