Fin Search are recruiting a newly created Finance Assistant role on a permanent basis for a well established and growing business in South Leeds.
As a Finance Assistant, you will be working as part of a small, fast paced team, reporting in to the finance manager, responsible for the timely and accurate management of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
Duties will include, however are not limited to, daily bank reconciliations including ledger posting, cash allocations, monthly statement reconciliations, managing aged creditors, performing credit checks where necessary and answering escalated payable and receivables queries.
This is a varied and fast paced role with the room for development and progression in both scope and qualifications.
The successful candidate will:
* Have worked in a relevant finance/accounts assistant role previously

* Have excellent attention to detail

* Have strong verbal and written communication skills

* Be studying towards AAT - desirable

£28,000 - £30,000 + AAT study support (if desired) + free on site parking + 22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and rising to 27 days with service + pension scheme + healthcare + flexible working hours
