This Export Specialist position in the FMCG industry seeks an individual who is highly organised with exceptional problem-solving skills. The role, based in Peterborough, 2-3 days work from the office, involves coordinating and managing the exportation of goods, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.
Description
The Import and Export Coordinator will be responsible for the following
*Manage and coordinate all aspects of export processes
*Ensure all export activities comply with regulatory standards
*Handle and resolve any issues that arise with shipments and deliveries
*Develop and maintain relationships with logistics partners
*Maintain documentation and records related to export activities
*Work closely with sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction
*Monitor and report on export performance metrics
*Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department
Profile
A successful Import and Export Coordinator should have:
*at least 1 year experience in either Import/ Export / Shipping Admin or Coordinator role
*Knowledge of import or export regulations and procedures
*Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
*Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
*Adeptness in working with logistics software
*A customer-centric approach to work
