Job Description:
An experienced Credit Controller is required for an established distribution business based in Poole.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have responsibility for a high volume of small and large accounts: acting as the main point of contact for these accounts, review new and existing accounts for creditworthiness, setting credit limits taking into account credit agency, references and other relevant information, resolving invoice and payment queries, collection of outstanding monies, allocation of funds received to correct accounts, processing credit card payments, reconciling ledgers, distribution of statements, weekly report of accounts on stop and provide cover for other accounts roles on an ad hoc basis.
You will need to have high volume credit control experience and enjoy customer interaction on the phone, so having a strong customer service ethic is essential, high attention to detail and able to work under pressure particularly around month end is also required. You must have good IT skills particularly Excel, and the ability to work as part of a small team and ideally some broader accounts experience is required.
