Teaching Assistant - Resource Base / SEND Learning Support Assistant - SN15

My client, a vibrant and supportive primary school, is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Teaching Assistant to join their specialized Resource Base team. What You’ll Be Doing
*Supporting children with Communication and Interaction difficulties in the classroom and during targeted interventions.
*Leading small group sessions and 1:1 interventions to promote learning and development.
*Collaborating with the Resource Base Manager, teachers, and TAs to deliver tailored learning plans.
*Encouraging positive behavior and promoting the school’s Values for Life and Learning.
*Contributing to planning, assessment, and feedback for individual student progress.
*Providing care and support during lunch and break times.
About You
*Be able to do the job as described.
*Have proven experience supporting children with SEND, especially ASD or Communication and Interaction needs.
*Excel in communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
*Be patient, flexible, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Demonstrate ICT confidence and the ability to implement intervention strategies effectively.
