Early Years Teaching Assistant Roles and Responsibilities:
*Assist with the planning of learning activities by identifying and preparing resources required to support lesson plans and learning outcomes.
*Assisting pupils’ achievements by monitoring, supporting and having strong communication with class teacher.
*Lead individual/small groups of children in teacher-led learning activities such as reading, phonics and math’s interventions.
*Maintain up keep of classroom resources and preparation of materials (e.g. books, pencils, art supplies, games, P.E activity set up etc.)
*Support children with their independence and confidence both inside and outside of the classroom
*Encourage the children through play-based learning both indoors and outdoors, helping to develop their social, emotional and physical well being
Early Years Teaching Assistant Non-Negotiables:
*Must have recent and relevant experience working with children and young people in an educational setting.
*Experience in EYFS, Nursery or KS1 setting.
*Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills in line with the National Curriculum.
*A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for a new one
