Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Liverpool
Do you have experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and disabilities? Are you a motivated Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity to make a positive impact on students? Are you enthusiastic about working in a school setting with challenging pupils?
Randstad Education is collaborating with specialist schools in Liverpool to provide support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs. We are seeking passionate, confident, and patient 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our team immediately. This term-time role offers a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, with the potential for a permanent position within the school. You will be working closely with students who have diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Work with children and young people with a variety of SEN, including Autism and ADHD
*Act as a confident, creative, and resilient behavior mentor to foster positive relationships with students
*Ideally, have previous experience working with SEN pupils in schools
*Be patient, passionate, and professional
*Assist in delivering lessons across various classes
*Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons using the P Scales curriculum
*Build positive learning relationships with SEN pupils
*Support students with a range of needs, including MLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD, and physical disabilities
*Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills
*Be available for an immediate start
