Job Description:
This entry-level Accounts Payable role in the retail industry involves the efficient and accurate processing of invoices and financial transactions. The successful candidate will be based in Hook, contributing to the smooth operation of the Accounting & Finance department.

*Processing and verifying invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
*Handling payment transactions and reconciling accounts.
*Assisting with month-end closing processes and reports.
*Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
*Communicating with suppliers and resolving any invoice discrepancies.
*Supporting the Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc duties as required.
*Contributing to process improvement initiatives.
*Adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable candidate should have:
*A strong educational background in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
*Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*A good understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
*Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
*A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
