Grants Officer
Birmingham | Full-time | Temporary (3-month contract)
Are you passionate about community engagement and making a real difference? We are recruiting for a Grants Officer to support a dynamic network scheme in Birmingham.
Key Details
*Contract: Temporary (3 months ongoing)
*Hours: 36.5 hours per week
*Location: Birmingham
*Pay: £12.50 - £13ph
Role Overview
As a Grants Officer, you’ll focus on fostering connections, identifying and supporting groups, organisations, and activities that enhance well-being and social inclusion. This role also involves coordinating small grant schemes, building stakeholder relationships, and working collaboratively to deliver impactful community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
*Identifying and engaging community assets to support local neighbourhood initiatives.
*Coordinating small grants to strengthen and sustain community activities.
*Collaborating with stakeholders across sectors, including social care, health, and voluntary organisations.
*Addressing gaps in community resources to support independent living and social participation.
*Supporting governance and engagement processes to ensure inclusive programme delivery.
Requirements
*Strong community engagement skills and experience working with diverse groups.
*Knowledge of project management, including grant funding processes.
*A commitment to promoting inclusion, health, and well-being.
*The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and foster productive relationships.
