Head of Administration - Financial Planning
Salary: Up to £45,000
Location: Hybrid (Office & Home working)

We are partnering with a prestigious financial planning organisation that is experiencing a period of sustained growth. Our client is a well-established name in the industry, renowned for delivering exceptional financial planning services to clients across the UK.
Due to their ongoing expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Head of Administration to join their dynamic team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the administrative operations that support the firm’s Financial Planners, Paraplanners, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and manage a team of IFA Administrators, ensuring the team operates efficiently and meets high performance standards.
*Oversee daily administrative operations to ensure seamless support for Financial Planners and Paraplanners.
*Ensure exceptional service delivery to clients, maintaining the firm’s strong reputation for quality and professionalism.
*Streamline and improve administrative processes to increase efficiency and productivity across the team.
*Manage workloads within the team to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
*Foster a collaborative, positive, and supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement.
*Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify development opportunities.
*Handle escalated client issues promptly, maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and resolution.
Requirements:
*Strong knowledge of financial services or IFA administration processes.
*Proven leadership and team management experience within a financial services environment.
*Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a team.
*Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
*Proficient in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Previous experience in a senior administration or leadership role would be advantageous, but we will also consider experienced IFA Administrators looking to step into a leadership role.
