Job Description:
Are you an experienced Client Accounts Manager looking to transition into a Director or long terms Partner Designate role at an established firm of chartered accountants? If you are seeking more advisory exposure and a clear path to senior leadership, this opportunity at an established 4 office Surrey firm, experienced strong growth may be perfect for you.
We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join our client’s team as a full-time Outsourcing Accounts Manager or Director. This role offers the opportunity to take charge of a diverse portfolio of SME general practice clients, overseeing their outsourcing needs.
Your Responsibilities:
*Manage a full portfolio of SME clients, overseeing outsourcing requirements.
*Proactively contribute to fee development and actively participate in networking and BD events.
*Supervise and review the team’s bookkeeping services, management accounts, and VAT services.
*Demonstrate strong IT skills with the ability to adapt to in-house systems.
Client Base: The clientele spans various industries, including manufacturers, professional service firms, IT developers, property developers, hospitality businesses, and not-for-profit entities.
Personal Attributes:
*Efficiently control your portfolio, from staff planning to WIP management and billing.
*Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, both existing and new.
*Showcase commercial awareness in fee development.
*Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries within your portfolio.
*Demonstrate proactive awareness of current legislation and compliance standards.
Team Collaboration:
*Delegate tasks effectively and provide mentorship to the team.
*Offer constructive feedback to junior and senior team members.
*Manage the team, ensuring high work standards and progress monitoring.
Skills and Experience:Personal Skills:
*Confident and articulate communicator.
*Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential.
*Professional and well-presented.
*Patience in training colleagues.
Your Experience:
*ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years of UK practice background to a supervisory level.
*Previous management experience of a UK team with 3 or more staff and a portfolio value of at least £300k.
*Commercial and proactive approach to client development.
*Has the right to work in the UK without Visa support
