Job Description:
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various machining processes. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to produce precision parts and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Main Duties:
The position will require operating our spindle moulder machine and possibly handtools.
*It is essential that you are experienced from a similar role within the timber industry.
*Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be an integral part of the team and will contribute daily in maintaining quality in a safe working environment using efficient housekeeping, health and safety and visual inspection.
*You will be responsible for setting up and operating the machinery.
*You will need to apply initiative with the ability to adapt and be flexible, along with the willingness to work as a team.
The position is full time from 6.00am to 3.00pm with 2 x half hour breaks; Monday to Friday. Ability to work overtime as required.
Roles to suit: Wood Machinist, Timber Machinist, Production, Production Operative, Production Operator, Skilled Operator, CNC Machinist, Machinist.
Pay (DOE)
£13.46ph to £17.31ph
