Overview
As a Pensions Administrator, you will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional entrusted with managing a diverse portfolio of occupational pension schemes, including Defined Benefit (DB), Defined Contribution (DC), and Hybrid pensions. Your expertise will ensure that all tasks and calculations are executed with precision and efficiency.
In this dynamic role, you will oversee cases throughout the entire pension lifecycle, adeptly handling both automated and manual calculations. Your responsibilities will also include drafting correspondence and reports, running pensioner payrolls, and providing vital support to the Client Executive team.

How you’ll make an impact
*Carrying out pension administration tasks and calculations accurately, in a timely manner, and in accordance with internal processes, company policies, and governing regulations.
*Managing your workload efficiently, strictly adhering to peer review timelines.
*Liaising with scheme members through various channels including email, letter, and telephone, to provide world-class service.
*Preparing member correspondence and client reports with precision and clarity.
*Dealing with non-standard client/member queries, demonstrating your problem-solving capabilities.
*Collaborating with team members and developing positive rapport with supporting teams for seamless operations.
*Providing support to team members and assisting the Team Leader as required, ensuring team success.
*Engaging actively with team members and the Team Leader throughout the day to foster a collaborative environment.
*Assisting the Client Executive team where necessary, contributing to the flawless execution of tasks.
About You
*Experience in defined benefit / defined contribution pension scheme administration would be advantageous but not mandatory.
*Willingness to study or currently studying towards the Pension Management Institute’s CPC qualification.
*Strong analytical skills with a logical approach to problem-solving, figuring out best course of action to efficiently implement solutions.
*Outstanding proficiency in processing, collecting, and inputting data accurately.
*Proven prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and disclosure requirements efficiently.
*Excellent communication skills to answer queries by telephone, letter, and email.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative and encouraging work environment.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ensuring you can compete in today’s digital workplace.
*Eligible to work in the UK
