Catering and Hospitality Lecturer *Hourly Rate: £25 - £35 including holiday pay
*Location: Nottingham
*Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
A college in Nottingham is seeking a Catering and Hospitality Lecturer to join their team on a temporary basis. The role involves teaching 18 hours per week across 3 days, covering courses such as the Professional Chef Diploma Level 1, NVQ Level 3, and Prep Skills Level 2.
Day-to-day of the role: *Deliver engaging and informative lectures for the Professional Chef Diploma Level 1, NVQ Level 3, and Prep Skills Level 2.
*Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
*Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and practical evaluations.
*Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience.
*Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
*Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Must hold a teaching qualification.
*Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Hospitality or a related field.
*DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
*Level 3 Assessors Award is desirable but not essential.
