A friendly and supportive CofE primary school on the outskirts of Preston is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team for the Spring Term, starting in January. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our youngest learners.

About the Role:


*You will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children in the EYFS setting, working with a range of ages and developmental stages.
*You will implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences, promoting the children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
*You will have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and be able to plan and deliver engaging and stimulating activities.
*You will be committed to the well-being of each child, fostering a safe, secure, and nurturing environment.
*You will work collaboratively with other staff members, ensuring consistency and high standards of care.
*You will be adaptable and flexible, able to work effectively with a range of children’s needs.

Essential Criteria:


*Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education and Care or equivalent
*Experience of working with children in an EYFS setting
*Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A passion for early years education and a commitment to providing high-quality care

*Full-time position
*Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 3:15 pm
*Start date: January 2024
