Head of Supply Chain Jobs in Andover at Stannah - Join Our Team!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Supply Chain to join Stannah’s rapidly growing dedicated Homelifts Business based in Andover.
This job will involve leading and developing our supply chain and procurement team to meet the evolving needs of our growing business. You will drive supplier performance, optimise costs, and implement innovative strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency while meeting the evolving needs of the business to support our ambitious growth.
As the Head of Supply Chain, you will work 37 hours a week. This job is a permanent role.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced supply chain leader to take on a high-impact role within a forward-thinking organisation.
To be successful as the Head of Supply Chain, it is essential that you have previous experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a strong track record in strategic planning and supplier management. Experience in manufacturing or a related industry is essential.
Head of Supply Chain Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with Stannah Homelifts’ operational goals.
*Lead efforts to identify new suppliers, establish strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
*Set and monitor goals and KPIs for procurement and supply chain performance, emphasising cost reductions, supplier diversity, quality improvement, and service level enhancements.
*Identify and mitigate risks within the procurement and supply chain functions, implementing contingency plans to minimise potential disruptions.
*Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
*Optimise inventory management and demand planning processes.
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain functions.
Head of Supply Chain Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
*Previous leadership experience in procurement and supply chain management.
*Proven expertise in supplier sourcing, cost optimisation, and contract negotiation.
*Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
