Description
The Transport Manager role will require the individual to:
*Report to the Head of Transport or equivalent.
*Manage a team of 50+ indirect heads through 4 direct reports.
*Be a CPC holder with O Licence responsibility.
*Manage customer relationships end to end.
*Manage Safety, legal and policy compliance including fleet audit compliance, Ops Ex standards compliance and delivery of a safe operation through the achievement of H&S standards and KPIs.
*Be accountable for people development and performance management within the operation.
*Be commutable to Oxforshire.
Profile
The successful candidate for the Transport Manager role will have the following skills and experiences:
*A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential
*Be Degree educated (or similar) - Advantageous
*Have worked in a FMCG environment previously - Essential
*Been responsible for a fleet of over 100 vehicles - Essential
*Possess a high level of commercial acumen - Essential
*A minimum of 5+ years Logistics experience at an equivalent level previously - Essential.
*Have managed in excess of 100+ employees previously - Essential
*CPC - Essential
*Be a key driver in staff engagement across the board - Essential
*Be commutable to Oxfordshire.
Job Offer
This role offers:
*Salary - £46,500
