Description
Management Accountant
*Prepare and present accurate management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
*Perform variance analysis, highlighting key trends and drivers affecting profitability and operational efficiency.
*Develop and maintain robust costing models, ensuring accurate tracking of production costs, material usage, and labor efficiency.
*Identify cost-saving opportunities across the production and manufacturing processes.
*Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights into production performance, inventory management, and capital expenditure.
*Monitor KPIs related to manufacturing efficiency, downtime, waste reduction, and output quality.
*Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, aligning financial goals with operational targets.
*Partner with department heads to ensure adherence to financial plans and provide guidance on adjustments.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
*Studying toward ACCA or CIMA
*Proven experience in a similar role
*Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
*Proficiency in major accounting software programs.
*Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
*Excellent leadership and communication skills.
