Job Description:
Are you ready to take charge of Fixed Assets management and make an impact? We’re seeking a Fixed Assets Manager to lead the end-to-end accounting processes, ensure policy compliance, and support key business decisions.
You will be responsible for overseeing the Fixed Assets monthly close, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and SOX compliance. As well as serving as the lead point of contact for projects requiring Fixed Asset expertise.  Based from our Central Offices in Northampton, this is a unique chance to drive process excellence and partner with teams across our UK business.

We’re able to offer a salary of £55,000 per annum along with a company car/car allowance.  In addition, we offer days 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and the option to purchase additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
*Ensure all aspects of FA are managed effectively
*Manage projects spend to ensure capex projects are delivered within budget
*Create a positive work environment, where you will provide leadership and coaching to the FA Team and work closely with your peers across Central Finance and the wider business
*Work with key stakeholders from across the business and demonstrate a professional, articulate, and knowledgeable manner at all times
*Work closely with the Head of Accounting Operations to ensure opportunities for improved processes and procedures are researched and embedded where appropriate
What you need to succeed at GXO:
*Strong understanding of accounting entries
*Knowledge of Fixed Assets and related processes with strong MS Office skills
*Commercially aware
*Able to effectively prioritise work & delegate where necessary
*Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be able to persuade & influence others
