Job Description:
Job Title: Management Accountant (10-month FTC)
Location: Norwich
Salary: £37,000 - £45000
*Will consider part time/flexible hours.
*Will consider home working after a probationary period.
Key responsibilities:
*Support preparation and reconciliation of annual budgets, aligning with the corporate business plan.
*Produce accurate monthly budget reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for senior finance leaders.
*Maintain budgetary and establishment control records, ensuring compliance with cost improvement plans (QCIP).
*Conduct regular meetings with budget managers to review financial performance and forecasts.
*Provide financial advice on policies, planning, and controls to ensure effective budget management.
*Assist with accurate invoicing and provide financial information for external stakeholders.
*Manage and develop junior staff, including a Finance Assistant and Finance Trainee.
*Implement and advise on financial policies, ensuring compliance with organisational and external standards.
*Support internal and external audits, including preparing reports and implementing recommendations.
