We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a secondary school in Worsley, Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students in their learning and development.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students across a range of subjects, providing support in both small group and one-to-one settings. Your role will be key to ensuring that students have the resources, guidance, and encouragement they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons, ensuring students are engaged and on task.
*Provide tailored support for students with additional learning needs.
*Build positive relationships with students, promoting their personal, social, and academic development.
*Help create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
*Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
*Support students during independent tasks, helping them to develop confidence and skills.
The Ideal Candidate:
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people.
*Patient, empathetic, and approachable.
*Passionate about education and supporting students in their learning journey.
*Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting, is desirable but not essential.
*A proactive approach to supporting both students and staff.
