SEN Teacher- Cover Teacher- Primary- Secondary- Special Needs- Tunbridge Wells, Kent
*** Immediate start or January 2025 start ***
The School:
The school is based on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells and provides support for primary and secondary age pupils who have a range of Profound, Severe and Complex SEN needs of which Autism is the main diagnosis. All pupils who attend the school have a designated Education Heath Care Plan (EHCP), which details their specific needs in terms of care and support they will have access to.
The school provides a unique and specialist environment that meets the needs and challenges that the students face. The school offers a highly specialised curriculum, which aims to help all students reach their full potential.
Students’ needs include Autism, Speech, Communication and Language Needs, Profound, Severe and Complex Needs
Summary:
*** Specialist SEN Primary and Secondary school for student with a range of Profound, Severe, and Complex SEN needs
*** Class sizes approximately 6-8 children
*** Specialist therapy rooms and designated areas for specialist support
*** Specialist communication methods such as Makaton and PECS
*** You will be supported by 2-3 LSAs in your class
Requirements for the role:
*** QTS is required for this role, however if you do not have this then please still apply as Unqualified Teachers may be accepted dependent on experience
*** Focus on teaching through a sensory approach and creative curriculum
*** Experience with special educational needs (desirable, not essential)

Location- Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Pay- £130-£180 per day daily supply. Paid to pay scale for long-term placements.
Contract- day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and permanent roles available
Hours- Full-time and part-time available
Year- Primary and Secondary
