Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Machinist to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in the Stirling area.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm, Friday 8am – 3pm
Salary: £29K - £32K
Daily Duties –
*Set and operate manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers, and milling machines
*Complete documentation, quality plans, workshop instructions and inspection records when required
*Ensure all pre-safety checks are completed, and all equipment and guarding in the Machine Shop is maintained
*Liaise with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure machines and equipment are repaired and serviced
*Keep machine and work area clean and ensuring tools and equipment returned after use
Candidate Requirements –
*Time-served and relevant engineering qualification
*Previous experience within a machine shop environment
*Driving Licence
