Summary of the role
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Enterprise Change Function, in either our Bristol or Peterborough locations. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of 3 days on-site, but can be open to flexibility. The successful candidate will likely be working on business-centric programmes, e.g. reg change, but will also have some variation across IT and Operations.

What you’ll be doing
*Lead and manage a project or workstream within a program, making sure everything is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the scope.
*Shape and develop the project approach.
*Use and promote the right project management practices, like planning, resourcing, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and handling risks, issues, and dependencies.
*Make sure to capture lessons learned at each project stage and incorporate them into future plans.
*Break down complex information or data to get to the root issues or see the bigger picture.
*Set up an effective project organization structure and take charge of shaping, building, developing, managing, and motivating the project team.
*Handle budget reporting, forecasting, and spending for projects.
*Plan and manage the resources needed (including solid contingency plans) to deliver the agreed solutions.
*Help choose supplier delivery relationships for technical partners, software vendors, and contract agencies.
*Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders at various levels, ensuring the delivery meets their requirements.
What we’re looking for
*Ability to lead and develop people effectively
*Excellent communication skills
*Proficient use of MS project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint to intermediate level
*Proven experience and ability to influence senior management population
*Proven experience of managing relationships with 3rd parties
