Position: Speech and Language Therapist - Head Of Therapies
Location: Liverpool/Bolton/Blackpool
Role: Permanent
Salary: £44,000 - £52,000 (depending on experience)
Start: ASAP
Due to movement and growth within the team, our client is looking for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join their team as Head of Therapies. This person will have the skills and motivation to support a growing team and facilitate effective communication for all. Our client support individuals aged 0-25 years directly and through others, using high-quality, evidenced-based approaches to maximise impact where they live and learn.
The Role: This is an exciting and valuable role, the successful candidate will deliver Speech and Language Therapy services in The North-West and will work in a hybrid way, travelling to all these areas to undertake their head of therapies role. Clinically, the Speech and Language Therapist with have a broad range of experience and may have a clinical specialism. They will also have experience of supervising and line managing others. As the Head of Therapies, the successful candidate will line manage Lead SLTs; promote a coaching culture; contribute to strategic planning; and lead on clinical quality standards.
There is expected to be a 50:50 split between clinical delivery and the Head of Therapies remit.
Requirements:
*Qualified/Registered Speech and Language Therapist with 5 or more years experience.
*Must be eligible to work in the UK.
*Experience line managing others and managing projects.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
*Experience in report writing and record keeping.
