Legal Cashier

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with client invoicing and financial postings to the accounting software.
- Processing cheques and managing the purchase ledger.
- Handling daily receipts, payments, and transfers between accounts.
- Taking card payments from clients over the phone.
- Conducting bank reconciliations and processing expenses.
- Performing general financial administration and housekeeping.
- Supporting the credit control process as required.
- Responding to routine enquiries from staff, customers, and suppliers, and investigating as necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in a finance role is essential.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Highly numerate with a quick learning ability.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrates self-management, problem-solving skills, and initiative.
- Adheres to the values of the firm.
- Knowledge of the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and SOS software is advantageous, though not essential as training will be provided.
