Job Description:
Customer Service and Sales Support Advisor, 1 years Fixed Term Contract
This is a fabulous opportunity to join a busy and thriving company based in modern spacious offices in Verwood.
The role will report into the Customer Care Team Leader and will involve delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers, providing professional support and ensuring complete customer satisfaction
Customer Care
*Resolve problems including but not limited to delivery queries, damages, returns and incorrect orders, whilst always maintaining a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers.
*Determine the root cause of issues and implement a solution that is best for the customer.
*Communicate with customers mainly by telephone but also by email and webchat.
*Efficient case management, actioning outstanding queries and e-mails in a timely manner, while ensuring that the customer is always kept informed. Keep accurate records of all customer interactions in the case notes.
*Deal directly with suppliers and carriers to ensure problems are rectified as swiftly as possible with little impact to the customer.
Sales Support
*Manage daily work load via claim management system
*Manage inbox
*Action standard quote requests within 2 hour SLA
*Deal with requests from customers and Internal Account Managers
*Contacting suppliers with sourcing requests
*Dealing with suppliers for price support
*Answering general customer product queries
*Taking inbound customer calls at busy times
*Order processing to support the Inbound Sales team
*Any additional ad-hoc tasks as required
Customer Order Processing
*Process orders from new and existing customers received via various media streams i.E. Eproc, email and web.
*Receive incoming telephone calls from new and existing customers always providing excellent customer service.
*Be aware of any promotional activity to optimise sales.
*Complete all administration and statistical information within our database to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Your background
*Customer service experience ideally in an office based environment
*Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
*Ability to work at pace under pressure with an ever-changing workload
*Exceptional multi-tasker
*Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
*Good team player
*Attention to detail, accuracy and flexibility to provide professional customer service
*Take initiative and ownership of customer problems
