I am currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Manager to join a client of mine on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to play a key role in managing the payroll function for a large organisation, ensuring the monthly payroll for over 3,000 employees is processed accurately and on time.
What you will be doing as Payroll Manager:
*Oversee the accurate and timely processing of the payroll for the entire group.
*Process monthly payroll and ensure adequate checks are in place before submitting for approval and processing payments.
*Handle starters, leavers, and holiday pay adjustments, along with pro-rata salaries for joiners and leavers.
*Ensure all pay elements, including overtime, sick pay, maternity, paternity, and unpaid leave, are calculated accurately.
*Produce and distribute monthly payslips and annual P60 documents.
*Work closely with the Company pension scheme administrators and ensure monthly uploads are completed accurately.
*Manage statutory filings, including Monthly RTI and Annual Filings, in line with current legislation.
*Set up pension schemes and ensure accurate monthly pension contributions are uploaded to providers.
*Post payroll journals to the NetSuite general ledger and ensure accurate reporting of monthly payroll and reconciliations.
*Prepare payroll reports for Finance Management and audit purposes.
*Work closely with the Cash Management team to ensure payroll payments are processed correctly and on time.
*Respond to payroll queries efficiently and professionally.
What you’ll need to succeed
*CIPP Payroll Management qualification is essential.
*Experience managing a payroll function in a large financial or professional services business.
*Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite and Infinet Cloud systems is advantageous, though not essential.
*Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
*Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
