Assistant HR Business Partner - £30,000
Excelcare are a privately owned nursing and care home provider established for over 35 years. Our support functions including HR and Recruitment are based in Bromley, Kent. We offer the Skilled Worker route of immigration and have a large number of sponsored employees.
As a result, we have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant HR Business Partner to work in a fun, well-established team supporting the company in maintaining compliance in this area, ensuring that immigration regulations are complied with at all times in order for us to retain our sponsor licence.
About the Assistant HR Business Partnerrole:
· Support the existing Senior HR and HR Compliance Partners with all aspects of the UKVI compliance requirements.
· Coordinate and deal with queries received in the dedicated sponsorship inbox and escalate where necessary.
· Assist in the preparation and organisation of any audit or compliance visits which we expect from time to time.
· There are systems in place to support the recording and reporting of updates/changes to employees’ visa status and right to work requirements which would need to be updated on a daily basis.
· Support the onboarding process in drafting employment confirmation letters, contracts and visa requirements as required.
· Assist with travel arrangements, accommodation, training providers, venues etc for people arriving from overseas and existing employees joining the company under the skilled worker visa route.
· Our overseas nurses require training on arrival into the UK for them to practice as a nurse in the UK therefore you’d be required to organise this training with established providers we work with.
· Compiling correspondence and emails as well as filing and general administration duties.
· Monitor weekly trackers and reports and escalate any queries or concerns. Chasing any outstanding queries to completion.
· Assist with Eligibility to work reports and compliance checks as scheduled and escalate complex problems to Senior HRBP and Head of HR Business Partnering.
About you:
· Relevant experience or expertise regarding UKVI compliance requirements.
· Previous experience working with recruitment and onboarding compliance.
· Ideally you would have experience and knowledge of the social care sector and user knowledge of the Home Office’ Sponsorship Management System (SMS)
· Able to work well with the team and on your own.
· With training and induction into the role to gain the confidence and ability to challenge, act independently and make sound judgement and decisions.
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Strong customer care skills
· Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and problem solving.
· Analysis and reporting skills
