Job Description:
Kameo Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our client’s well-established manufacturing and engineering company in Ely, just north of Cambridge. This role, based within a small and supportive team, involves a diverse range of finance tasks, providing daily accounts support to the Management Accountant and Group Financial Controller.
Hybrid working - 2 days working from home
Duties and Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant:
*Purchase ledger, including statement reconciliations and payment runs
*Sales ledger, including production of sales invoices, some credit control
*Nominal ledger, including monthly account summary production
*Support to the Financial Controller and Management Accountant
*Ad-hoc finance reporting
*Entry of timesheet data onto bespoke system - training will be given.
Experience required for the Accounts Assistant:
*Qualified to AAT level 3 (or equivalent)
*Previous experience working as an Accounts Assistant or similar
*Experience of Sage 200 or Sage Line 50
*Multi-currency experience
*Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
*The ability to work under their own initiative and question, where appropriate, alongside having a flexible approach.
