Job Description:
Senior Solution Architect / Solution Architect / Lead Solution Architect / Software Solution Architect
We are looking for highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team on a contract basis for a 6-month period. The successful candidate will play a critical role working on a Finance project, focusing on migrating over to Workday.
This position requires an understanding of finance processes, with a high preference of Workday knowledge.
You will be responsible for designing and supporting the implementation of a robust, scalable, and secure solution that aligns to the company’s strategic objectives. This role requires strong technical expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architect, engineering and security teams to ensure that solutions meet both current and future needs.
You will be expected to:
*Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
*Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
*Ensure solutions are implemented to meet both current and future needs of the finance and pensions.
*Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions.
*Conducting solution architecture research, PoCs, feasibility assessment and facilitating solution application selections.
Key Tasks:
*Architecture Design: Develop and implement the architecture for the finance migration project, ensuring alignment with business goals and Workday best practices.
*Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the solution meets their needs.
*Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring best practices in solution design and implementation.
*Integration Management: Design, oversee and implement the integration of Workday with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process integration.
*Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
*Ensure the company Blueprint is kept up to date and to the standards set.
*Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of the solution through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Essential experience:
*Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on finance system implementation and ideally Workday.
*Strong understanding of architectural frameworks and best practices.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable experience
*Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF 9 certified, Certified Solutions Architect).
*Knowledge of Workday, including its architecture, integration capabilities, and best practices.
