We are currently seeking a passionate and engaging Health and Social Care Trainer to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in health and social care and experience of delivery training. You will contribute to the development of our colleagues and the enrichment of the support we provide.
Key Responsibilities
- You will report directly to the Training Manager and work with our current trainers. You will help develop and deliver in house training for our support teams and individuals.
- Design and deliver effective training programs to all our colleagues to help them to provide a meaningful life for the people we support
- Provide a full induction training programme to our new colleagues, ensuring they are equipped and empowered to fulfil their exciting new roles.
- Keep up to date with compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assess training needs and develop relevant materials.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually enhance training content.
Person specification
- Previous experience in Training within Health and Social care is desirable.
- An award in education and teaching (AET) or equivalent.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to tailor training programs to meet the specific needs of diverse learners.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
-A valid driver’s license is essential, as the role entails regular travel between our Dorchester, Ferndown and Wiltshire office.
