Your new company
You will be joining a well established SME based close to Guildford, Surrey. The company is one of the strongest in their field, and they seek an experienced finance leader to manage the close-knit team.
Your new role
This key role based in the Guildford office will see you take responsibility of looking after the finances for the company on a day-to-day basis, partnering closely with the Directors. You will lead on the ownership and delivery of month end management accounts. In addition, you will be leading, supporting and developing a team of accounts assistants who look after sales/purchase ledger and support with statutory and month end activities. Outside of the monthly cycle, you will have an opportunity to drive process improvement and support commercial decision-making.
What you’ll need to succeed
In addition to your finance qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) you should have strong experience in managing all areas of accounts within SME. Being hands-on is essential alongside leading the finance team. Most importantly is a positive and "can do" approach!
