Job Description:
Thames Water is looking for Debt Recovery Specialists who excel in communication, are empathetic, and have the skills to provide effective payment support. In this role, you’ll help customers navigate financial challenges while contributing to a positive customer experience.
What you’ll be doing as a Debt Recovery Specialist
You’ll work with customers facing financial difficulties, offering personalised solutions to support their well-being. Key responsibilities include: *Building meaningful connections with customers, guiding them through payment options tailored to their financial situations.
*Resolving billing inquiries with empathy, actively listening to understand each customer’s unique circumstances.
*Creating manageable payment plans to empower customers with sustainable solutions.
*Championing customer success by taking ownership of each interaction, ensuring every customer feels supported and valued.
Location
This role is based at Walnut Court, Swindon. During your probation period (minimum six months), this will be an office-based position where you’ll receive full training and support. We are committed to providing you with the resources you need to succeed.
Your journey with Thames Water begins with an exciting four-week training program designed to prepare you for the role. Training hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and your attendance is essential to ensure you gain the knowledge and skills required to excel.
After training, your working hours will be Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, with shift patterns including:
8:00 am – 3:45 pm
8:30 am – 4:15 pm
9:00 am – 4:45 pm
9:30 am – 5:15 pm
10:00 am – 5:45 pm
12:15 pm – 8:00 pm
