You will work for a highly entrepreneurial, growing business that continues to expand through acquisitions, offering a commercial and progressive opportunity for its employees. Due to growth in finance, they are currently recruiting a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
Your new role
In this position you will be supporting several business entities and their senior finance leaders. You will work collaboratively, liaising with stakeholders and finance business partners in sharing commercial information and providing month-end reporting. You will be confident in presenting to senior staff, and challenge departments on numbers where needed. You will be responsible for an accurate and timely month-end closure as well as perform general management accountant duties such as record to report activities for your given entities and closing the monthly management accounts accordingly.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will be Newly ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with a recent track record in management accounting from general ledger reconciliations, accruals/prepayments and fixed assets to experience in liaising with stakeholders and finance business partners alike. You will be able to demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills in order to build relationships with colleagues. Strong Excel and IT skills are essential, as well as being team-orientated with a personable and ambitious mind set.
