Job Description:
Orka Financial is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant (Fluent French speaker) to join their clients Finance team based in Reading.
The position will provide daily support to the finance team department while also acting as the first point of contact for all French-speaking customers.
The Accounts Assistant role comes with a hybrid working model and the opportunity to study a professional qualification AAT/ACCA/CIMA
*Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
*Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
*Maintain accurate records of transactions, and update internal accounting systems.
*Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any payment issues.
*Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
*Bank reconciliations
*Support the finance team with daily administrative tasks as required.
*Participate in continuous process improvements and contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department.
Customer Support (French-Speaking):
Serve as the first point of contact for French-speaking customers, responding to inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
Skills & Qualifications:
*Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
*Previous experience in an accounts assistant or finance-related role
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
