Job Description:
Substance Misuse Nurse - Contract Role Location: Hertford, SG13 Salary: Negotiable Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (4-day week considered) Contract Length: Minimum 3 months, starting at the end of December or beginning of January.
About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Substance Misuse Nurse to join a leading health and social care charity in Hertford. This organisation works with individuals and families affected by issues such as drugs, alcohol, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse, and antisocial behaviour.As a Substance Misuse Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting clients through detox and recovery, using your clinical expertise to improve their health and well-being.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct ECGs and administer Hepatitis B vaccinations.Understand and implement titration processes.Complete comprehensive healthcare assessments.
Essential Qualifications and ExperienceHold current NMC registration.Have experience as a detox/substance misuse nurse.Be committed to delivering high-quality care and support.
