Marketing & Business Development Executive - 12-Month FTC

Supporting the Consumer Goods, Food & Retail, and Insurance sectors, you’ll coordinate marketing and business development activities, deputise for senior colleagues, and collaborate with centres outside of the UK. This role offers exposure to all areas of marketing, providing excellent opportunities for career development.
Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
*Marketing: Coordinate sector and practice group activities, including events, legal directories, sponsorships, digital content, and client communications. Ensure all materials align with DLA Piper’s brand guidelines.
*Business Development: Assist partners and lawyers in introducing legal solutions to key clients, target industry leaders, and contribute to pitches. Ensure consistent BD messaging across all content.
*Systems and Process: Implement marketing plans, manage intranet sites, and engage with sector leadership teams.
The ideal candidate will:
*Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, project management skills, and the ability to manage demanding workloads.
*Exhibit professionalism, excellent communication skills, and experience in virtual team environments.
*Understand professional marketing, new business issues, and sales processes in the legal sector
