Step Teachers are working with a great pre-school in Haringey to find a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team long-term, helping them to build a safe and welcoming environment where young children from diverse backgrounds can explore and develop as individuals.
Nursery Teaching Assistant - Role:
*Make a positive impact within the classroom, supporting children’s learning and development.
*Encourage positive behaviour and provide pastoral support to children when required, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
*Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on children’s progress and achievements and fostering positive partnerships.
*Assist the class teacher with planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning.
Nursery Teaching Assistant - Requirements:
*Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent is desirable.
*Previous experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children’s learning and well-being.
