Day-to-day of the role:
*Develop and enhance Building Safety Management systems (BSMs) and safety regimes to improve customer safety and engagement.
*Proactively prevent building safety incidents and reduce the severity of incidents should they occur.
*Utilize data, site surveys, and customer feedback to anticipate potential issues and implement mitigating actions.
*Review, instigate, and record quality assurance interventions to build evidence supporting BSMs and the production of building safety cases.
*Serve as a key contact both internally and with third-party stakeholders to ensure building occupants are safe and feel secure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong technical knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Building Regulations, and British Standards.
*Experience in housing and property management.
*Excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team focused on customer service, competence, cultural change, collaboration, and information sharing.
*Full driving licence and access to transport due to the travel requirements of the role.
