Please note: This is a full-time, office-based role with no remote working opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable for two entities within the group.
*Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice approvals, and invoices.
*Maintain supplier statements, reconciling discrepancies in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
*Assist with Finance Assistant and Finance Manager duties during leave cover.
*Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance Manager and Group Head of Finance as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
*Minimum of 6 months of experience as an Accounts Assistant, focusing on Accounts Payable.
*A proactive, self-starter attitude with a desire to grow within the company.
*Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
*Experience with SAGE 50 is essential.
*Knowledge of VAT/CIS and SAGE 50 Payroll, as well as auto-enrolment, is highly advantageous.
*Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills.
*Immediate availability is a plus.
