Job Description:
Our client are a PE backed multisite retail company, as they complete a period of transformation they are now seeking a hands on, dynamic Financial Controller to join them. Ensuring all internal and external financial reporting is completed and optimising processes within the finance team, you duties will include:-
*Manage the external audit process, including year-end, interim reporting, and controls visits.
*Liaise with external auditors on accounting judgments, timetables, and requirements.
*Oversee the preparation and management of the Annual Report and Interim reporting processes
*Handle tax computations, quarterly tax payments, and forecasting.
*Manage year-end corporate and deferred tax calculations, as well as interim reporting corporate and deferred tax calculations
*Develop and maintain adequate documentation and controls to minimise risks.
*Manage accounting for Head Office cost centres, exceptionals, interest, and depreciation
*Collaborate with the business to manage cost centre reporting and forecasting.
*Oversee the management and maintenance of the finance cash flow forecasting model.
*Ensure Group and subsidiary accounts comply with current reporting standards.
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge. A background within dynamic businesses ideally multisite retail / leisure companies will eb key to your success in this role
