Job Description:
Part-time Finance Assistant
20 hours per week (hybrid), £26,000-£28,000 per annum, pro-rata (part-time salary will be around £14,000-£16,000)
Cambridge city centre
We are currently working with a globally renowned organisation, based in Cambridge city centre, who are looking to for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. This role involves a variety of financial tasks including bank reconciliations, credit control procedures, and other finance administration tasks.
Duties to include:
*Conduct monthly bank reconciliations, monitor daily bank transactions, and ensure regular posting
*Manage receipt postings and reconciliations
*Handle credit card invoice processing and postings
*Credit control tasks
*Assist with the preparation and issuing of bills
*Manage email accounts and ensure timely responses
*Support other members of the Finance team as required
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Education to at least GCSE level in Maths and English
*Strong numeric skills and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
*Experience within a finance function and a basic understanding of transactional processing
*Studying towards AAT is an advantage
*High attention to detail and accuracy
*Inquisitive nature with a strong ability to learn new skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
