Job Description:
Are you looking to join a dynamic team and make a positive impact on a school community? Our client, an educational institution based in Stockport, is seeking a motivated and experienced Site Manager.
Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Stockport
Remuneration: £14.13ph
Contract Details: Temporary to Permanent Details
Hours: Part time role - 7.30am - 12.30pm and 17:30pm - 18:30pm (Flexible on the evenings and may be able to remove that hour if needed) - 5-6 hours per day
** PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE AN ENHANCED DBS OR BE WILLING TO UNDERTAKE ONE **
Responsibilities:
*Secure the site and operate systems such as intruder and fire alarms.
*Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the site.
*Understand and comply with COSH and Health and Safety regulations.
*Promote health and safety across the entire site.
*Demonstrate computer literacy for record keeping purposes.
*Hold a clean Driving Licence.
*Utilise good DIY skills for general maintenance duties and minor repairs.
*Take responsibility as a key holder.
*Communicate effectively with the school team and liaise with contractors.
*Maintain accurate and organised record keeping.
*Prepare and set up school events, including out-of-hours meetings.
As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of the school site. Your responsibilities will include securing the site, operating intruder, and fire alarms, and maintaining cleanliness to a high standard.
In addition to your technical skills, you should have a strong understanding of COSH and Health and Safety regulations, promoting a safe environment for the entire school community. Good DIY skills will be beneficial for general maintenance duties and minor repairs. Holding a clean Driving Licence is essential.
Excellent communication skills are necessary, as you will be working closely with the school team and liaising with contractors. Accurate record keeping and the ability to use technology for this purpose are also important.
